I chose an egyptian frog amulet from the 5th century with a christian frog engraved on it. I made a video with images and videos found on the internet with a voice over of my text to illustrate the specificities of this small object. I chose to make a video because I think that as a medium it facilitates the making of associations. And as this specific object is not separable from the frog amulets that were made before the expansion of christianism, I wanted to associate my object with some aspects that go beyond the object itself…
